A Showing of A Christmas Carol

Nov. 30, 2014  –  1:30pm
in the Fellowship Hall

“Some of my favorite memories come from the time I spent with my family, at home…and at church (I was a church that felt like family).  Some of the most vibrant memories are times when I spent time with my family at church:  breakfast between Sunrise worship & the 9am service at my home church, an annual all-church (Christmas) variety show where all the adults and kids participated…  the list goes on.  I can almost see, hear, taste, touch, and smell those moments.  Being with my family at church formed me into who I am today.”     -Rev. Scott Carnes

Some of the most important moments in the life of a church are those times when parents, children, grandparents, and other friends come together to be a true family of faith.  Coming on Nov. 30 we will have just such an opportunity.  After Hanging the Greens in worship that morning all are invited back to the church at 1:30pm for a showing of A Christmas Carol.  It is a family favorite that is sure to please.  Best of all:  we will have time together as a community of faith.  This is just the first in a big line-up of Advent Activities as we prepare for Christmas!

There will be popcorn and drinks.  Adults and children are encouraged to come ‘comfortable.’  You may even wish to bring blankets and/or pillows to get comfortable in the fellowship hall.
