What to expect when you visit:
Our Sunday worship service lasts one hour, and is usually a “traditional service” with hymns sung from our United Methodist hymnal. On the third Sunday of each month we provide a “more contemporary/blended” service with songs projected onto a screen and without our hymnals.
Arriving: Visitors will find a large parking lot to the west of the church and parking spaces on all other sides of the church building. One can enter from either the west or east side of the church, but if there is a need for an elevator, visitors should use the west entrance.
Come as you are: Most of our members dress “casually” with some individuals in jeans and others wearing jackets with or without ties.
Children are welcome in worship: We provide a nursery during worship for children under the age of five. A children’s sermon is incorporated into the service, but there is no separate children’s worship. We provide two glider/rocking chairs in the sanctuary for parents with very young children and encourage you to be comfortable during worship with your child.
Fellowship: All are invited to share in coffee and refreshments which are served in the basement immediately following worship until 10:30 a.m. On the last Sunday of each month the church gathers for a brunch (summer schedule) or potluck. If you didn’t bring food, join us—there is ALWAYS plenty to share.
