Welcome! Thanks for your interest in Hudson United Methodist Church. Hudson UMC has been a part of the local community since around the time of Hudson’s founding. In 2008, the church celebrated 175 years of worshipping, serving, and helping others grow in their spiritual relationship with Christ. Although the church has been established for many years, it has undergone several renovations, and has a new, modern, handicapped accessible building, but still feels like a small town church focused on worship, service, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ.

Our congregation includes members who have been a part of this church for most of their lives, some as long as 50-60 years, and also new members who have just begun their Christian journeys.  We also serve a small community of the deaf and hard of hearing, and an American Sign language interpreter is provided in Sunday services.

Hudson is considered by some to be a “bedroom community” of Bloomington/Normal, and is only a few miles from the twin cities. While most of our members come from Hudson and the surrounding community, a number of families drive from the twin cities for a “small town” worship experience.
